I am an impact investor and senior advisor, based in Milan. Thirty-five years of markets, banks and complex transactions have taught me how capital and people behave when things get difficult. Today I put that experience to work in investments that give value back: homes saved, places restored, young people educated.

Each stage has added something to the method I use today.

1990

Beginnings

Legal studies and aerospace engineering, then advisory work in private equity and real estate for private and institutional clients.

2000s

Regulated funds across Europe

Roles in regulated investment funds and listed companies in Italy, Switzerland and Luxembourg, often from launch through development.

2009

The test

The financial crisis put everything I had built to the test. It left me with clear rules: spread the risk, work with supervised partners, choose the people before the projects.

Bringing value back to life

I invest patient capital in homes, historic places and education, and I help families and companies through special situations, with regulated partners.
